There is not currently a way to post images or use WYSIWYG functionality on the profiles and activity feed. It’s just not a feature of BuddyPress, but as soon as I find a solution, I’ll implement it.In Progress:

When posting from the main activity page, it doesn’t refresh on submission. (Reload the page, it did post, I promise!) -

Added some new features today: GIFs in posts, comments and on the forum, as well as quotes in the Activity Feed and profiles that include colored backgrounds and images, kind of like how Facebook does.
Still working on Activity Feed/Profile post editing and adding images/rich text, but as soon as the feature is available, we’ll make sure you have it. 🙂
