February 23, 2025 at 8:56 amLooking for thoughts and ideas about how US citizens living abroad can help fight everything that’s going on. Personally I’m grateful to be elsewhere but also feel like my hands are tied because of the difficulty or impossibility of doing things like joining protests and going to see my elected officials. With the SAVE act on the way, I guess we’ll be even less able to contribute.
Any other expats here?

February 24, 2025 at 4:13 pmI’m not an ex-pat (yet lol), but writing letters and sending postcards is helpful. Also, get in touch with some of your local representatives. Bend their ear about things.

March 17, 2025 at 10:40 amI am volunteering with Democrats Abroad – will eventually be helping students studying abroad to vote/register – and making a little good trouble on social media. Honestly just staying somewhat informed is taking up a lot of time. But the turn of events this weekend has me in despair.
