This is my question too. WHAT IS THE PLAN? Because what’s happening now, this constant game of reactionary whack-a-mole, is simply not sustainable. And maga is too far gone to be reined in. They need to be stopped and replaced. Now. Not in 2028. Is there even a plan for that to happen? Relying on the courts and elections clearly isn’t enough.
As far as a single leader to follow, I don’t know. But I am leaning toward the younger, feisty-er reps like AOC and Jasmine Crockett. Those two would literally throw down if they needed to and that’s the kind of energy we need right now.

There are plans, but they aren’t being broadcast. One also needs to be careful not to give the MAGHATS an excuse to declare martial law, which is ultimately what Trump wants to do. So far, the courts are doing their job. 52 preliminary injunctions against Trump’s and DOGE’s illegal actions. If the Supreme Court does its job and stands behind lower courts’ rulings AND Trump ignores the Supreme Court, then there will be a call for a general strike – everyone who supports the Constitution will be asked to stop working, take to the streets of Washington, and remove the tyrant. A people’s revolution. But if that is how things eventuate, there may be civil war. There is nothing that Democrats in Congress can do within our legal system to stop what is happening. Not unless some Republicans join them. While those of us on the left are upset with what is happening, we lost the election. A small plurality of voters voted for this. What comes lies at their feet. But we cannot be too quick to abandon the Constitution. ONLY if the current regime triggers a constitutional crisis should extra-constitutional steps be considered. We cannot be like the whackadoodle right, who scream for revolution every time they lose an election. Don’t buy into the doomsayers messaging. That is what they want us to do. We should prepare for revolution, but hope that it is not necessary. Join resistance groups. Prepare for long periods of disruption. If you can stomach it, arm yourselves and get training in how to use your weapons for self defence. Ensure you know how to safely keep and use any firearms you get. If getting armed isn’t something you are comfortable with, there are other things you can do to prepare. Have a good supply of healthy foods. If you have $, give to organizations that are resisting. Volunteer. Protest. Call your members of Congress and share your views – often.
