    • Nothing would surprise me as far as produce and planting/harvesting.  We usually have a small veggie garden (tomatoes, cucumber, zucchini, squash, peppers). We had planned to expand this year, however, we may have to move for job reasons, so I’m not sure if we’ll be doing a regular garden this year.

    • It’s quite possible, especially if farms start going out of business.

Community/commons plots work well here in Canberra but might not be great in cities. I have a friend who sustained himself through uni by growing veggies in polystyrene boxes on a balcony.

    • My mom lives with us and likes to grow a few things. I think this year I’m going to add to that.  We have the space this year for galvanized tubs thankfully,

    • Check your local library. Ours has a Seed Library. You “check out” seeds, plant your garden. At the end of the growing season you collect seeds from your produce to return to the library. Ours even ran a program on how to collect various seed types.
