Loss of Jobs – NOT Federal Workers?

Am I the only one who has been impacted by a job loss NOT a Federal Worker?  The Executive Order banning the wind energy thing resulted in my husbands work evaporating almost overnight.  He was working on getting the wind energy off shore in CA going.  He had been working on the projects on the East Coast and was starting to ramp up the CA windfarms.  Unfortunately, CA can’t go it alone, as these projects were literally in Federal Water and it was the investors/clients/private companies that decided to just pull the plug.  These were HUGE projects that would have meant a lot of jobs.

Also, I’ve only heard a little here and there about the US Treasury not paying government contractors?  I wish there was more information there.
